Meet our Board of Directors and Management Team.
Chris Werling
Chris is Founder and President of Cornerstone Global Ministry Consulting. He brings years of experience to CGMC from being a Senior Consultant and then also a co-founder and president of a for-profit management consulting firm, Cornerstone Solutions, for 14 years prior to starting CGMC. Chris continues to run that firm as well.
Chris graduated from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (www.rose-hulman.edu) with a computer engineering degree with a focus on pre-law and pre-med. Upon graduating, he started his career with a national consulting firm, and then co-founded his own firm in 1997. Given his education and consulting and business experience, Chris can delve deeply into technology, while at the same time work with the executive team on determining how to develop a more efficient and effective organization.
Chris and his wife Kristi have two children - Easton & Camella - and live in the Atlanta metro area. Chris grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana, while Kristi was a missionary kid ("MK") in Sierra Leone, West Africa. Click here for Chris' resume.
John Pearce
John is a Founding Partner and Principal at StoneCross Group, LLC (www.stonecrossgroup.com). StoneCross is a solutions-based Supply Chain Management Consulting firm that provides their clients with strategic advisory services. John has 34 years of experience in designing solutions for business challenges through a variety of industries, including most recently supply chain. He has worked for various companies such as IBM, EDS, & Manhattan Associates.
John’s heart for ministry and particularly for the Kingdom of God is easy to see. He is always looking for ways to do more for the Kingdom of God. We appreciate his experience, perspective, and desire to serve.
Roger Peace
Roger currently serves as the Vice President of Ministry Services/Operations for Word of Life Fellowship in Schroon Lake, NY (www.wol.org). He serves alongside the Executive Director carrying out the day to day operations of Word of Life which currently has 7 locations in the U.S., and over 65 around the world! He has served for over 17 years in areas of the ministry such as Facilities and Property Services Department, International Ministries Office, Christian Camps, and the last 4 years in his current role. He has had the opportunity to travel to over 20 countries helping ministries review their day-to-day operations and develop 5 and 10 year strategic plans.
Roger brings a diversification to the board as Word of Life has been and will continue to be a Cornerstone Global Ministry Consulting client. His insight as a client will bring a welcome perspective to the board, as well as one who has been serving with a not-for-profit who is continually seeking to become the model of professionalism and efficiency. We appreciate his willingness to serve on the board.
Roger Jeter
Roger has years of experience in being a Management Consultant - both with Big 5 firms and on his own for the last decade. Roger has worked for the Big 5 firms of Price Waterhouse & Grant Thornton, where he was a Senior Manager and then Partner. Roger's responsibilities were extensive as a Partner. However, he missed actually working with clients. Plus, he felt God's call to begin working with Christian Ministries. See his website at www.lgresources.org. So, in 2005 he relocated to Colorado Springs to enable him to work with Christian Ministries on a part-time, tent maker basis more easily. Roger has been looking for ways to expand his ability to work with Christian Ministries, and looks forward to joining up with Cornerstone as funding is secured.
