SERVe Project Methodology
Cornerstone Global Ministry Consulting is currently putting together a Project Methodology from beginning to end:
- Determining which projects to serve on
- How the Projects are Executed
- Follow-up Afer the project to ensure success
Here is a high-level outline of our SERVe Project Methodology:
Selection
- Fill out Ministry Consulting Request (MCR)
- What?
- Why?
- ROI – Quantifiable & Qualitative
- Client Project Executive Point Person, Position, Time Available
- Client Team available to work with
- Discussion with (potential) client
- Review and talk about the MCR
- Jointly fine-tune the expected ROI
- Cornerstone Management determines whether to take on the project based on:
- Ministry Executive’s & Team’s Commitment to the project and change
- Availability of Cornerstone resources (FT, Contractor, Volunteers) with the needed skillsets
- Perceived Project Value
- Project Urgency
- Location of project and duration of on-site resource need
- Schedule the Project Kickoff and End Dates
Execution
- Project Kickoff Meeting
- Create Project Plan – simple or complex depending on project
- Execute Project Plan
- Regular project update meetings and/or status reports as needed
- Project Wrap-Up Meeting, Present Findings, Changes, Recommendations, etc.
Re-Visit
- If client is implementing (some) changes on their own, then regular Follow-up meetings to hold Ministry accountable for making the changes.
- Follow-up 3-6 months to see how changes implemented are working
- Evaluate and recommend changes to the project recommendations/findings
- Follow-up in another 3-6 months
- Client writes a Case Study & Reference with Cornerstone’s assistance
