Who We Serve

Cornerstone Global Ministry Consulting’s Mission and Vision is to meet these needs among medium to large-sized Evangelical Christian Ministries.  Some people have asked, “Why not smaller organizations as well?”  The reason is that management consultants are used to working with organizations that have a fair amount of complexity to them.  Smaller organizations, ones that have around 1-49 people, don’t have enough structure or complexity for management consultants to effectively help with.  Even a larger church, for example, is far less operationally complex than supporting hundreds of missionaries in the field, publishing books, or coordinating relief to a disaster area.

Another reason is that because larger organizations have more complexity, projects that assist them with reorganization, optimization, alignment, etc. naturally will have a greater return and impact than with smaller organizations.  Since CGMC will have limited resources available to address what will probably be a nearly unlimited opportunity to help organizations, we wish to make the biggest impact that we can.

Further, while we have not found firms that help medium to large Christian organizations, we have seen some firms that focus on smaller ones such as churches.  Churches themselves also have a pool of help from within their own congregations – businesspeople, consultants, etc.  The need among larger Christian organizations is great and deep.  We have already defined some of this need in organizations that we have met with.  There is a great need and together we can make a large impact.
